About
B2B Content That Delivers Revenue
I write content that actually works for B2B SaaS companies and marketing agencies— companies that tie every piece to a specific result. My approach:
Data-led Content Strategy
I combine keyword research with SERP analysis to identify high-intent opportunities your competitors miss. This helps you rank for terms your ideal customers actually search for.
Result? A 233% increase in organic traffic in 6 months for a client by syncing long-tail keywords in the content.
The contract started in July 2023, and it increased to almost 35k/m in January 2024.
Here’s my Research Process to Create Product-led Content
My research includes:
SERP analysis to understand search intent and content gaps
Social listening on LinkedIn, Twitter, and industry podcasts (thanks to ListenNotes) for expert insights
Comprehensive competitor analysis using SEMrush
I use the product and take screenshots or GIFs to show how the software works for a specific use case.
My research process in detail:
I paste the keyword on SEMrush keyword overview to find competing pages for the keyword.
I read these blogs to understand the search intent they served, the gaps in the content (whether in outline, structure, or context), and how I can improve on what they did to rank. SEMrush also suggests helpful LSI keywords to optimize the page.
If there are gaps in client expectations & my research (on content idea or approach), I communicate it upfront so we can be on the same page. If there isn’t, I continue.
I read low-performing pages, too. It’s where the gems are sometimes, and I take notes to improve my arguments or knowledge on the topic.
I use LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and podcasts to find expert insights when I don’t have an SME to speak to or a tight deadline. I paste a keyword (it doesn’t have to be my primary keyword) into the social platform's search bar to find context for my topic, and I give credit to the expert when I copy-paste their words.
For podcasts, I use Listennotes to find pods related to my topic.
I use my notes and existing research to build an outline.
If I need to feature product use cases, I would use the product and jot down features relevant to the article I am writing. I’ll also save some screenshots.
I keep my 20+ other tabs open so I can write and double-check if I misinterpreted a statement, idea, or framework.
I dump my draft on Grammarly, fix the little Grammar errors, and paste it back to GDocs. I don't write & edit…helps me articulate my thoughts better.
Here’s where the real work begins.
I start tearing my piece down. I fix incoherent sentences and ideas, fact-check, add new stats, reshuffle ideas, add internal and external links, and add screenshots and images to give more context—you get it…
Then, I edit again manually.
I add alt texts to the images.
And edit again. And again.
Of course, I give it time to breathe so I can spot the gaps in my content.
Content Focused on Your Business Goals
Every piece I write is for real people, not fictional customer profiles. That's why I follow the "Pay Scale" approach. This helps me:
Write content that matches the knowledge level and pain points of your target audience.
Address specific user pain points with actionable solutions.
Highlight relevant product features naturally within the content.
Improve key metrics like organic traffic, time on page, and conversions.
Maintain consistent quality and meet deadlines.
